Rick Johnson

Rick Johnson is our Company President and has been with Tax & Accounting Plus since the beginning in 1987. He believes his employees are his greatest asset as they strive to provide our customers with the greatest service possible.

Rick is also an Enrolled Agent with the Internal Revenue Service. The marks “EA” and “Enrolled Agent” are marks that indicate the practitioner is enrolled to practice before the Internal Revenue Service. These marks are awarded to individuals who successfully complete the Internal Revenue Service’s initial and ongoing certification requirements. The “EA” designation allows Rick to represent clients through and up to actual tax court proceedings.

Rick was born and raised in Lincoln, IL and received his bachelor’s degree from Illinois State University. He now resides in Bloomington, IL and has been blessed with six children and three grandchildren.

Deb Johnson

Deb Johnson is the Company Vice President and has been with Tax & Accounting Plus since the beginning in 1987. She jokes that she came with the furniture.

Deb is in charge of thr Payroll and Bookkeeping services and has been preparing taxes for over thirty years. She has completed the IRS’ requirements for the Annual Filing Season Program (AFSP) and is listed in the IRS’ database of qualified tax return preparers. Deb is a vital asset to Tax & Accounting Plus and the glue that holds our team together.

Deb was born and raised in Dupo, IL and moved with her family to Bloomington-Normal for a new job opportunity. Deb lives in Danvers, IL with her husband, has four grown children and eight grandchildren. She is a lover of family and gardening.

Joyce Floyd

Joyce Floyd is a tax preparer and has been with Tax & Accounting Plus since 1994. She is an extremely positive person and like the TV show Everybody Loves Raymond… Everybody Loves Joyce.

Joyce has been preparing taxes for almost 30 years.  She has completed the IRS’ requirements for the Annual Filing Season Program (AFSP) and is listed in the IRS’ database of qualified tax return  preparers.

Joyce has lived in the Bloomington/Normal area all her life. She was blessed with four wonderful children, which in turn have honored her with seven grandchildren.

Stephanie Presbitero

Stephanie Presbitero is a accountant/tax preparer/notary and has been with Tax & Accounting Plus for 12 years. She is very knowledgeable and helps maintain the procedures to ensure that all the payroll, book-keeping, bill payment service, and tax returns are processed appropriately.

Stephanie has been preparing taxes for six years. She has completed the IRS’ requirements for the Annual Filing Season Program (AFSP) and is listed in the IRS’ database of qualified tax return preparers.

Stephanie has lived in the twin cities her entire life. She is very blessed with her family, her boyfriend, & 3 boys.  She is fluent in Sign language.

Elizabeth Johnson

Elizabeth Johnson is a tax preparer and has been with Tax & Accounting Plus since 2017. She has completed the IRS requirements for the Annual Filing Season Program (AFSP) and is listed in the IRS database of qualified tax return preparers.

Elizabeth is also the non-profit specialist. She is in charge of our non-profit Payroll, Bookkeeping, and Grant Reporting.

Elizabeth graduated from Eureka College in 2013 where she received her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a minor in Communications and Theatre.

Elizabeth grew up in Heyworth, IL and moved to the Bloomington/Normal area. She has been blessed with a wonderful family and gives Glory to God in all things.

Caleb Johnson

Caleb Johnson is an asset when it comes to helping our customers stay on track with Payroll and Bookkeeping. He has been with Tax and Accounting Plus for 1 year.

Caleb is the first person you see when you walk through our doors and always greets our customers with the best smile.

Caleb grew up in Heyworth, IL and moved to the Bloomington/Normal area. He spends his free time with his family and loves helping others.
